Searched the whole internet for solutions for this one and so far nothing has worked.
I'm playing CK2 3.0.1 with the latest GoT mod(since it is incompatible with 3.0.1.1), but don't think this is an issue specific to the mod itself. Happens about 120 years into the game, after a certain point I can no longer save, happens after I call the Lord Paramount of the Reach for trial, and after it is over I can't save no matter how many times I reload the save.
My specs are:
Ryzen 1500X @ 3.9Ghz
16GB DDR4 Dual Channel @ 3066Mhz
RTX 2070 8GB
Windows 10 64-bit
So I don't think either OS nor hardware is an issue in this particular situation, I even started playing with everything in the background closed. I ocassionally encounter crashes during autosaves aswell, but if I remove autosave and save manually it doesn't happen, but apparently I can no longer save manually.
I also use local saves not cloud, tried both compressed and uncompressed same issue, it's not a filename issue, i tried naming it TEST several times which has worked before. I also have about 10GB free on the disk drive my savegame files reside. I read about all reddit threads, couple of threads on this forum and on Steam.
P.S. got past that point after about 10 reloads, and about a year later same thing happens.
