Established roleplaying community starting another game

Hey everyone!

We are part of a stellaris roleplay group and we are currently organising a new game. It's intended to be open to all, including those without previous roleplay experience. We mostly run games in the afternoons/evenings CEST, but have also run games at other times on weekends and members from all time zones are welcome!

Our next game is going to be 3 hours per session, unmodded (to keep it open to all experience levels) and is intended to be run evening time CEST. It has a good mix of experienced and inexperienced players so would be a great way for anyone interested to get a feel of our community, how our games are run and what we're all about as roleplayers. The host and some of the other players are experienced roleplayers both within our community and elsewhere, so plenty of help can be offered for those who may want guidance as the game progresses. A vote to decide which day it will be held is currently underway and any interested in joining would be able to participate in that vote.

Whether you're an experienced roleplayer or someone looking to try it out for the first time you'll find games that cater to your tastes, including some modded some unmodded. Why not come in and say hi?

How do you plan on dealing with the late game desync out of curiosity? I have never been able to finish a multiplayer game due to said issue.

Desyncs weren't an issue in three games and about 30 sessions we had. 2.7.2 is nice

30 sessions, but have you actually finished a game? That's a lot of sessions for such a small amount of time. As I said, in 4 years, I have never been able to finish a multiplayer game due to desyncs, which appears to be an unsolved issue.

We had two full games completed. Desyncs were not a problem.

As has been stated, we have had no such issues in any of our 3 games. But then again it is all about RP and people are conscientious about potential issues (such as xeno-biology fe)
