After I play a game of EU, when I go to exit, right when I press the exit button the game freezes which then causes the Windows task manager to get all messed up which forces me to do a manual restart. I'll bet that if I were running Win NT the task manager would just be able to shut down EU without disturbing anything else, but I won't go into that now...

I'm running a system with an Athlon 800, 396MB Ram, a Voodoo 3 3000 and Win 98 SE.

I, too, have always had this problem.
I found that the way around it was to press Ctrl+Alt+Delete, select EU from the list and close it down that way.
Afterward the cursor "freezes" for a few minutes on the Desktop but after I have made a coffee it is ok again.
Sorry I couldnt offer a Tech solution...

If nothing else works, alt+tab out of it, then hit ctrl-alt-del. The taskmanager won't be 'messed up' that way. Will show normally.

For me it freezes for a short period of time and then goes to the Windows desktop. Then the first time I click on something it freezes up for a short period of time before going back to normal. Occasionally it will freeze up all the way and I won't be able to get out of it and I'll have to reboot.
