EU Generator 1.11 Bug

Having a problem with EUGen1.11 where it will not allow you to place nations using the GUI map. Getting a message saying that the "Parameter is Incorrect".

I'm running ver 1.08NA. I DLed the latest ICG after I had this prob, thinking it may help, didn't.

I installed (rather placed it as the generator doesn't truly 'install') it to the default directory that EU installed to. (C:\Program Files\Europa Universalis)

My specs:

Win98
Athlon 850
128MB RAM
16 MB TNT2 video card
Plenty of room left on the hard drive.

Any help, suggestions, whatever would be appreciated. Screenshots follow.

First, what I get when I hit the button to pull up the GUI. I saw someone say you had to uncheck the random starting button: no dice, i get it either way.

Second, what I get when I hit the OK button on the error popup. This is the window I assume is supposed to have a map on it.

As I said, any help would be terrific.

I realize I'm bumping this thread... but does anyone have a solution to this?

I have uploaded version 1.12, please try it!
The map now should be visible even though an error occurs during drawing. The error message: "The parameter is incorrect" which appears on some systems when map screen is shown is replaced (better debugging).
To everyone who reported this problem: Please inform me if the problem still persist and what error message appears!
