Hello Frodo, It should be released... today. :)
Oranje told us that Vobis might sell it so I will check tomorrow and keep you updated.
(there is a Vobis shop on the Chaussée de Wavre at Auderghem next to the VUB campus)

Kind regards, Crusader

I managed to buy a (german version, since I understand very well that's no problem) game via eBay, so I don't care very much about availability. We live in a world wide economy, luckily, so why bother to wait till it's released in our country!

Lucky you! I tried ebay as well, but no luck, I only found the BG. And the Germans only sell by 'Nachnahme', which does not work outside Germany...

Hello,

that would be nice. I live in Ixelles, so the Vobis at the VUB is just around the corner for me.

Hey,

Concerning the release in Belgium I did a little research:

A) FNAC doesn't have it in stock.
B) Free Record Shop (contrary to what was previously mentioned on this forum) will probably not sell it very soon, it's not mentioned in their online release list. I checked in two stores and they couldn't tell me when they'd have it (if they would sell it at all).
C) Vobis went out of business in Belgium. There are 4 out of 25 shops left, but I doubt they still depend on the Vobis supplier (don't know for sure).
I checked in one of their ex-stores and they would not have the game before April they said.
D) GameNation has never heard of the game (how dare they).

So for Belgian fans it might be quickest to just get it online from www.softwarefirst.com

All the best,

Hi StrategicAlliance,
did you pre-order it from Software first?

If yes, did you receive it?
Living in Paris, i'm still waiting for it while it has been despatched a week ago.
I wanted to know if it is normal or if French Mail sucks as usu.. NO i didn't say 'as usual'!

Kind regards

Dunhere

Surprising... :)

Seriously, I don't know how are your FNAC in Belgium but the french ones are particularly bad concerning strategy games.
Of course, you don't have any problems to find Mario Cart or Football Manager there but I finally did order Operationnal Art of War vol II directly to Talonsoft rather than waiting.

Dunhere,

I ordered it from their site wednesday (21/02) night and that was no longer a pre-order. On thursday 22nd I received a mail that they had despatched it with European Airmail. I would expect that it will be here by wednesday (giving them 4 days to deliver is usual for a UK-Belgium transport) if the game is in stock.
I'll keep you posted on the progress...

Gonna do some schoolwork now while I still have the time :)

Thank you StrategicAlliance,

I think UK-Paris is not longer than UK-Brussel and the 4 days deliver time is over by now.....

That's what i thought, French Mail really sucks!!!
It's another example of french know-how :(

What's quite funny (!!!) is that i already received Software first catalogue which was despatched the same day the game was (in theory!)

I'll spend my week end without EU : really sad
