This weekedn i tried to modify the leaders of bavaria , but to find out in the IGC 2.3 Beta and 2.3 i get and access violation error after the monarchs are read in , so i just ca modify the monarchs but no more.
Then i re-intsalled the 2.2c IGC and the editor worked fine again.
Could someone tell me if i done something wrong or is it a 2.3 IGC bug.
Thanx

The problem is the chinese leader file and all the '#' marks which are used to mark out all the leaders. Remove all the '#' marks from the China leader file and the leader editor will work fine. ALSO remove all files named

'leader.***'

and

'monarch.***'

which do not have 3 letters after the point OR are not in the correct format.

When you have done this the program should work fine.

Just use any text editor to edit the '#' signs out. Use Edit or Note Pad or Word to do it.

Tried this and I still can't open the leader files. I opened several nations' monarch/leader files with a text editor and a number of them had '##' before each of the monarchs.

Any other ideas?

Thanks . . .
