Hi I have a Windows XP 1600 AMD comp with Geforce 2ti and my game crashes inexplicestly once in a while. It just dissappears and I am back on the desktop. I have version 1.07 from the COTN

It crashes only rarely and durring the regular game not the intro movie is this fix for an in game Crash?

Yup, what happens is that the Bink player can fail to unload from memory properly.
You also may want to update your Audio and Video drivers.
If it is not that it is probably a known problem with AMD drivers.

Just bought CotN, have no proble playing Crown of the North, however I can not launch EU 2. The game crashed to the desktop as I try to launch the game from the Main Menu.

And did you update your video drivers, what are the build numbers of your current ones?
Sorry it took so ling to get back. I don't know but is this waht you mean the driver version is 4.4.0.3 and its Navidia.
I tried the auto update but it found none I did get one from the site you gave me it was the right one but it made my comp crash also the game still crashed. Maby it is somthing else. It happenes very rarely.
See if you can find any rhyme or reason for the crash. Such as date in the game, scenario, or particular action or event.
I tried to auto update the drivers but it said no new ones were found. I found one on the site you gave me but the game still crashed with it and eventualy my whole comp crashed so I rolled back the driver. The game still crashes now once in a while so I know not what to do.
