EU2 Freezes when loading

I reloaded EU2 since harddrive fried. When I load up EU2 1.0 just fine. Then I apply the patch, boom, as it is loading the graphics, it freezes and gives an error right back to windows...

Maybe updating your driver for your graphic card?

Make sure you install the 1.08 patch and then the latest beta. Just the latest beta installed over top of 1.0 will definitely get you a crash.
