Don't know if this is a feature, but I had a prisoner who managed to get me excommunicated from jail!

Is that supposed to be happening? :blink:

Needless to say, he was beheaded the next day! :angry:

I don't see why this shouldn't happen, unless he was down the oubliette. I doubt excommunications are requested in person very often, why should the Pope care where the letter was written from?

Well, the whole ideer with imprisonment in the game is to isolate the person in question and render him helpless.
I doubt that he would be allowed to make an lengthy correspondence with the Pope regarding the jailors excommunication!

But I would really like to have a comment from P'dox...
