Explorers- How to Dispatch

OK, this i bad. My manual vanished when my wife cleaned my computer room and I just started playing a scenario as the English. How do I send explorers. I got Cabot and was able to send his ships out to explorer unknown seas zones but how does one exploer unknown land? I mean in terms of game interface.

Explorers can only uncover sea zones, you need conquistadors to intentionally uncover land provinces. However, explorers have a random chance of uncovering coastal provinces that they pass by, and this chance improves with naval tech.
