are you sure about crusafer...i know they don't have a trait for someone who would be a "Jihadist"

yes you are right, but CRUSADER on a muslim sounds weird...
Nice discussion! :D
But it's only important if a muslim has such a trait at the start of game.
I haven't looked through all the starting traits.

Have you installed the tool?
If not open the rar and run the sar_install.exe!
If it's once installed run the tool.
In the window that appears now choose the scenario to randomize and then click on the button "randomize attributes"...wait a moment...then it appears an overview of the new created file below(you can do this as often as you wants until the values are ok for you..no changes on the original files until now).
Finally click save and you have a new scenario with randomized attributes! ;)

To restore an original scenario file chooss the scenario, which you want to restore and choose then restore scenario from "Tools" in the menu bar.

Ok, done all that, but i don't see the save button. File button has an exit sub button and the other two have one sub button also. And a suggestion, maybe put in a maximize screen idea to see the whole file :)

It appears only after you've clicked on "randomize attributes"...then a text field should appear below the button and below this text field a save button should also appear!?
Which screen solution do you use?
Tell me please if it works now!

My screen resolution is 1280X1024
The bottom of the dialog box is cut off, thus the request of the maximizing :)

New Version 1.01 avaiable

I have to say sorry, because i haven't thought of people with higher than mine screen resolution(1024*768)! :D
In this speciall case the window was cut, because not reziseable.

I've uploaded new version, which makes the window reziseable and now srollbars will apear if necessary! :)

Ok, got it to work after I deleted then redownload then reintalled
Install it over the existing files or uninstall and then reinstall...both should work!
Hope it works now for you!

Hi,

Nice program. I'm in the process of creating a fantasy scenario and to cut down the workload I though I could use this to create the attributes and traits for my characters but at the moment it only appears to deal with the vanilla scenarios, any chance this could be expanded to cover all scenarios in the scenario directory? :)

I think it's possible. ;)
I will see what i can do...

Cool, thank you! :)
So Chris version is ready for you! :D

Code:
Version 1.02:
-attribute randomizer will found now all scenario files with following
format:
"your filename_scenario_characters.inc"

Cool! :)

If you could allow the user to define the actual CK directory as well that'd be great, I've got a second install where I'm working on a scenario but it automatically picks up my normal game folders.

New Version 1.03 avaiable

New version is ready! :)
Now you can also get random starting traits(only the kind of traits is changed) and you can change the starting gold/prestige/piety!

Code:
New in this version:
-added possibility for random traits at start of scenario
-added possibility for random distribution of
 prestige/piety/gold
-added checkboxes for attributes, traits and
gold/prestige/piety through which you can specify what's to change in new
 scenario file
-if you use user made scenarios with randomizer please use this naming:
for character files ->
'Name of your scenario file'_scenario_characters.inc

for the scenario eug file->
'Name of your scenario file_'scenario.eug
