DUPLICATE: Duke vassal repeatedly revoking/granting titles to Counts
Read the bug list and didn't see anything like this so I hope it's not a repeat (since it's happened to me a few times I've got a feeling it may be though).
Basically I'm a king and have a duke vassal with 5 or so provinces vassalized to him. For one reason or another one of the vassals has low loyalty. The duke moves to revoke his/her title, which lowers the loyalty of all the vassals under him. He then appoints a new count to that province. But because of the revoke, all the other vassals have had their loyalty lowered. So the duke moves to revoke another vassal's title. This once again lowers the loyalty of the remaining vassals, PLUS that of the new vassal. About this time, one of the provinces rebels. He appoints a new count to the recently revoked title, and moves to crush the revolt. He does so, and appoints a new count to the re-conquered province. By now the remaining old vassals are pretty much bottomed out loyalty wise, so the duke then revokes their titles and replaces them. This causes the first "new" counts to drop below the loyalty threshold, and the Duke moves to replace them too! More revolts ensue. This can cycle for a very long time. I've had to spend 10 years helping the duke crush revolts against his own family members who are literally cycled in and out as counts of various provinces, repeatedly. The cycle would have probably never ended, but I eventually revoked the Duke's title and just sat on the provinces until they had built thier loyalty back up.
