1066 : 2 principalties of Tunisia, no Kingdom ?

In the 1066 scenario, playing as the duke of peloponnesos I managed to conquer all of Tunisia, I can create 2 titles that are prince of tunisia, one with 4 provinces and the other with 15 and the little crown on the COA, but still, I am only prince ( and part of Byzantium ).

I guess this is supposed to be a kingdom, as it states in the savegame ( when I click on my character I see that he is prince of ...., King of tunisia, count of..... ), but when I load the game I am no King...

If you want me to send the save, just pm me.

Well this is a hard one, would like to see the save.
The only thing right now that I can think of is that it did not change tag.
Ex if you are a count and vassal of a Duke, the second you take a duke title you are kicked out by your liege and on your own. So I guess thats the same with duke being vassal of a King and you take a King title.
So I can only guess it did not change tag correctly, for whatever reason?
Tunisia is a Kingdom, so it should change tag the sec you claim it! Maybe because its a Muslim Kingdom?

I've already reported the reason for this in an earlier thread. It's because in the 1066 scenario the tag TUNI is defined as a duchy (it is a Muslim emirate). However, in province.csv, TUNI is a kingdom and DTUN is a smaller duchy. So in the scenario, once you destroy the Muslim Tunisia, you can claim both TUNI and DTUN as duchies.

Simple fix is to change the tier for TUNI to kingdom.

Very nice info and yes you are correct.
A wrong here means you cant claim the title with its H/C attributes, nice. Thats the 2nd use I found for the 'Tier =', wonder if there is more?

FIXED IN 1.03 :)
