I just had a fleet in a port become inaccessable on the world map. I could access it in the ports screen but clicking on the captains icon did not show a ring at the port no could I give him ordersto move.

That is not an isolated event. I have had it happen several times but only to the Home Port. It has occurred more after the latest updates but that may be a coincidence as now I am playing into the games later years. I think it might be related to swapping ships between fleets.
There is also another problem of the fleet icon not updating after a ship transfer. An example, a sloop was moved out and a Galleon was moved in, but it still showed the sloop on the strategy map.
I do not think it is limited to the home port, but it might be related to swapping ships. I haven't noticed about the fleet icon.
