Summary

forcibly removed from my own house

Description

This has been reported AT LEAST once before, but still a gamebreaking issue:
I am an adult, independent ruler. I am also the head of my dynasty, in the main branch of my dynasty. My grandfather, who is my vassal also, creates a cadet branch, and I am then forcibly removed from my own house and he replaces me as head of dynasty. Of course I am also not his heir as head of dynasty.
I very much hope that this is not as intended...

Steps to reproduce

Be head of dynasty, have parent or grandparent create a cadet branch.

1.9.2.1

Windows

In this cases, I would say, that Vassals should treated as criminals, if they found a Cadet Branch, while being a Vassal of their Dynasty Head.

I think it comes from 00_dynasty_decisions.txt in the last modifier it checks any_player but then directly checks the children of your character, but does not check if your character is also child/grandchild/great_grandchild of the current character that is trying to make the cadet house

I am more than just a little bit upset that what I perceive to be a major game-breaking bug is STILL not fixed as of yesterday, after being reported now like half a dozen or more times over more than 2 years.

lads, if you comment, make sure you also upvote. op, make sure you upvote your own thread too. this has been an issue since launch and has yet to be acknowledged, kind of highlights the issue with bug reports being effectively a popularity contest

hopefully this time we get lucky and someone actually sees this
