By popular request (one person asked) I'm resurrecting 1836 Mk. II in a new and improved form with Storm as my stats guru. This time I'm narrowing the game down to 12 nations and 12 nations only, with a tight focus on European countries and the outsize influence that that one continent exerts over an entire planet. The Victorian Era is the age of European supremacy, the Golden Age of Hypocrisy, and players will get a chance to engage in deeds of breathtaking arrogance and cruelty while maintaining an essential veneer of civility and polish.

Anyone who's interested can indicate their preferences by posting one Great Power and two Secondary Powers from this list in which they have interest. I'll take these preferences into account when making roster choices, but ultimately I'll decide who gets in and who gets what. I'll determine the final roster of Secondary Powers based on who gets spots; there are 12 listed, but only six will be player nations.
