The Reich is very pleased that the democratic principle of self-determination in finally applied to the East. The people of territories that were forced to leave Germany will have the opportunity to show whether Danzig and Memelland should become German again, and it is our firm hope that the citizens of these territories will soon make the decision to return where they belong, as German citizens.

I wish to thank the Allied Powers for their moderation and their understanding in this affair, although I regret that such a dire crisis was necessary for the core democratic principle of the new Europe to be applied. Nevertheless, this shows goodwill and the German nation will surely remember it. I will thus all means to ensure that the ongoing occupation of parts of Posen and West Prussia ends and the Reichswehr will closely monitor the elements who took part in this affair. The Reich would desire to see plebiscites applied to Posen and West Prussia as well, but the guarantees our German brethren are receiving satisfy us.

The German administration regrets that these groups have been able to agitate in Poland because of our own powerlessness but the arbitrary limitation on the size of the German armed forces make us unable to fully control such groups. Should the West desire to empower us, we will certainly bring this situation under control. As it stands, we will protect our own state but cannot fully guarantee that paramilitary groups will cease being a threat to neighbouring nations.

The League of Nation is showing its dedication to world peace and arbitration, and we can only applaud the recent move towards self-determination. Germany has taken a renewed interest in the League and we wish to see these good relations continue in the future, and to possibly deepen them as well.

I am saddened to see that some parties still refuse to accept the situation of the country and try to gain power through demagogic means. This weakens the state, and the nation is poorly served by some members of the Reichstag. The Treaty we signed is undoubtedly unfair, shameful and uncalled for, but is the treaty we have to deal with. I won't oppose efforts to renegotiate, and it is certain that the efforts of all patriotic-minded politicians should be equality of rights. The wounds of the war aren't closed yet, and we mustn't rush the West, as it wouldn't serve our cause. If we forget to act carefully and respectfully, we will only go to war once more, and Germany is neither able or willing to sacrifice its youth once more.

My fellow Germans, Danzig will be German once more. And in a few years, the Deutschlandlied will be true again, as the Memelland Germans will vote to rejoin us. These are unexpected and undeniable results, brought by conciliatory diplomacy. Some Western politicians begin to see that pointlessly humiliating Germany will only weaken their nations, and it is my belief that overtime cooler heads will prevail. The Treaty limits us much more than I would want it to, but we accepted it and now we must act according to it, and respect the word we have given.

This means that we have to pay the reparations, and if we show goodwill, reliability and honour in this case, we can expect that the West will be more willing to hear our legitimate concerns. The effects of the occupation of the Rhineland are undeniable, and the worrying cases of exactions committed by French soldiers must be addressed. German law will keep being applied, and we believe foreign soldiers who are accused of misdeeds against the German civilians should be judged by German courts. Likewise, the trade limitations we are currently suffering from should come to an end, as the powerful industrial class of Germany is now opposing the Treaty, and the governments that defend it.

To sum it up, my fellow countrymen, the Allies cannot let the treaty remain as it is forever, and I shall act in order to see changes being brought as soon as possible. But if we want this to happen, we must show our benevolent side, and frontally opposing the West won't lead it to make concessions. Let us be true to the treaty while we renegotiate it. It is the only way we have to undo the shackles of Versailles.

The unrest in our Northern neighbors is most disturbing to both myself and my Ministers, as much as it must be among my People. The confusing agendas of that government's ministers, King, and respective army staff generals threatens not only the stability of the nation -- which is now so very dearly compromised -- but also threatens to spill over borders into neighboring nations. Though we can certainly trust the Romanian government in securing peace within its own borders and quelling this armed dissension in her major cities, the Bulgarian government is still worried as to the effects these events may have on the rest of the Balkans and, indeed, the world.

This has moved me to express my desire to continue the reforms we have seen in the past years. A reform of the national education curriculum and mandatory standards shall continue being under constant scrutiny and revision for a roll-out of a new system in he next several years, which will provide all Bulgarians with a standard education without sacrificing agricultural and industrial productivity nor the livelihoods of the people. Further economic and political reforms shall solidify the nation's economic solvency and provide for our future generations a growing, prosperous, and strong nation.

Canadian citizens, it is pleasure to be able to say that our improvements to immigrations have worked, but I am also happy to say that is not the end of our goals. With the increased instability in Eastern Europe, both Ukraine, Poland and Romania, it is our duty towards His Majesty and the Empire to make sure that we are able to protect the people against the illegal government in Moscow. It is our duty to make sure that these people are safe and as such we will put more effort into allowing immigration for people fleeing from Eastern Europe and the Bolsheviks. With the large amounts of unclaimed land in the prairies here in Canada we are willing to offer the immigrants from said nations, the Canadian mining industry will also be expanded to allow for more jobs, both to Canadians and immigrants who shall come to our nation.

The Canadian government is also worried about the recent instability, but civil and economical in British Empire, specifically in Australia and New Zealand. But despite their problems, it is overshadowed in the small region of Sarawak, and we are beginning to support the opinion of New Zealand to station armed troops there as the situation is getting more and more out of control, as such we fear for the lives of those of the Empire and other officials in the region after the recent events in the nation.

It is no secret that our great fatherland, so freshly liberated from oppressive imperialist regimes, is now under full siege by the most vile kind of human there is; the Bolshevik. We have fought hard, but due to the incompetence of the previous government, Warsaw, Lwów and Białystok have all fallen to the Red Horde. We, the patriots of Poland, have risen up in the west, tired of insane plans that lead only to the death of our soldiers. However, not all Poles have joined us yet; some remain defiant, under the banner of a traitorous madman, whilst the rest have found their homes and livelihoods under Bolshevik occupation.

Our goals should no longer be to win the war – that is secondary, a minor thing. Our mission, first and foremost, is to achieve the complete unity of the Polish people under the White Eagle, a symbol of our resilience, pride and our holy fight. May every son of our republic, when he is in dire times, either under the boot of the Russian swine, or on the battlefield, outnumbered ten to one, remember the tranquil seas of wheat of the East, the storm-battered mountains and valleys of the South, the breeze of the sea of the North, and the metallic heartland of coal and iron in the West. He must remember of the village or city he came from, of his loved ones, and of those who put their complete trust in him, the defender of the Polish Nation. Let him either feast on earth after a battle won, or feast with the Heavenly Father and his lost comrades. We may march back into the East, or straight into the jaws of death, but no matter where, we will do so with pride and a ferocity that will show that our blood does not run thin. We will fight and die not because we are forced to, but because our Holy God and our people demand it of us.

The Commonwealth, the proud ancestor of Poland, stood tall amongst the nations of Europe; the ideas of Liberty, of laws that protected the People and of a free and tolerant state were not alien to those men then, and in that way they were more revolutionary than any swine dressed in red soaked rags. The true revolution lies not in slaughtering the previous government and replacing it with a new autocrat; it lies in the people themselves reforming their own ways, lives and souls, something that the Tyrant Lenin and the rabid dogs he calls his generals do not understand. We must reform our state so that not only is the frontline at war, but that every single inch of soil is hostile towards those that wish to see us enslaved. May the Bolshevik not eat without finding nails in his broth, may he not lie down to sleep without the fear of a knife cutting his throat, and may he not place a step on our land without a bullet with his name on being loaded into a rifle. Our enemies have abandoned their Gods – they have forsaken all chance of repenting their sins, and they wish to burn our temples too; we will not let them. Let us deliver them to their final judgement.

We also call upon those Poles who have been lost; abandon the lost cause that is Pilsudski. He will lead you into nothing but death and you will be forever remembered as nothing but a band of traitors. Abandon your false leader, and come join the cause of Poland, the country you love and wish to fight for. We will not judge you for your past mistakes, but instead accept you into the fold, and once again all Poles shall be brothers. Under the partition brother killed brother fighting for Prussia, Austria and Russia – let us not repeat those mistakes ever again.
 
If this message ever reaches the east, currently under foreign oppression, we would like to promise them, before God and before our nation, that we will not rest until you are delivered from your struggle. If you can, you must rise. The armies of our oppressor are far from home, and tired from the fight; they will soon find themselves surrounded by an enemy fiercer than they have ever seen. Fight, even if it is hard, and bleed, and bury the friends that died around you, but never for one second must you think your blood was spilled in vain.

There will be no rest and no peace, and this, as your elected leader, I promise to you. Poland lives or I perish, and by this oath may God be my witness.

Citizens of France! The past year has been one of success, one of peace, one of hope.

Many decried my decision to reinforce our troops, they said I was wrong to perpetuate a needless war, that the escalation was a mistake. I do not call a war in the name of liberty needless, and in light of the armistice I do not see the escalation as a mistake. Yet, I also do not seek vainglory; we have left the Turk badly bloodied and forced him to accept reason, and have been reasonable ourselves. The Turks have accepted our terms despite their wishes, and the Treaties of Ankara and Damascus combine to ensure a stable and prosperous Levant. I promise to you all that before the ink on these treaties is dry I will sign the order to bring home your brothers, your sons and your husbands. Further, while they shall return to France as soldiers, they shall live in France as free men. With war on the retreat across Europe I feel confident that a moderate demobilisation in our armed forces is not only allowable but also preferable. The industrial expansion of the previous year and the continued economic prosperity of the Republic ensure that our brave men will return not to destitution as in some nations but to a stable job and an increasing wage. And if there is any doubt that I hold the worker as close to my bosom as the industrialist, I am seeking in the coming year to pass a new health insurance bill into law, ensuring that there will always be aid available to those in need.

No doubt this news will bring fear to the hearts of some of my political allies. What of Germany they may say, what of the Bolsheviks! Firstly, to Germany: Our approach to Germany must not be one of pure vilification or hatred; we must be generous with one hand while stern with the other, only this way may be establish a lasting settlement with the Germans. Our generosity is shown in the East, where we have agreed to a democratic plebiscite to be held over the future of Danzig. To ensure that Poland is not harmed by this, I have personally promised that we shall support the Poles in constructing a new port, one owned and run fully under Polish authority, so that no longer may citizens of another nation prevent our ally from receiving vital supplies. In effect, this outcome is beneficial for the Poles as well as the Germans. Our sternness is shown in the Rhineland, where our forces stand alongside our Western allies, always on guard to remind the Germans of their transgressions. Secondly then, to the Bolsheviks: While there are some in France who see them as a golden light to follow, they continue to rape and pillage their way across Belorussia and into Poland, and indeed this horde must be prevented from pressing further. Yet to act unilaterally on this would be as mad as to do nothing at all. Instead I seek to build a strong international alliance, uniting men not only of Europe but f Asia too. France does not stand alone in this conflict, but shoulder to shoulder with the same friends we have stood by these past seven years. I have no doubt in my mind that together the powers of reason and liberty shall force the Red Tide to come to the negotiating table, not as conquerors as they wish it but on terms agreed by all.

Brave people of Poland I was wrong. I was wrong to believe so fully in the potential of the minorities of Russia had the strength to break away. I was wrong to think that we could base our safety in alliances with anti Bolshevik governments. The only true way to obtain Polish security is to create a strong Polish state a state the rest of Europe will Envy for its strength and prosperity. If we can break some chunks off the Russian empire in the process that will be all the better for our survival. But that should not be at the expense of the size and strength of the Polish state. Warsaw may have fallen but that should not stop us fighting for our freedom and what we know to be right. I offer Roman Dmowski a truce an offer to fight together to save Poland from Bolshevik scum. If you are truly the nationalist you claim to be then you will accept for what is more important than saving Poland from the Bolshevik scum. But if you are an ignoble power hungry man who cares not for Poland you will refuse and all will know the man they have put up to be their new leader is no nationalist or even a friend of Poland. Make your choice.

It is a great irony that the West claim we are fighting a war of conquest, that we seek to destroy Poland, when we have offered the Poles peace for the past three years, in war the Poles themselves started. Furthermore, despite the continuous victories of the Red Army, we have offered the Poles the same peace for the past three years, unchanging in its demands. A peace that we should note that the proposed border between the Russian and Polish states is the very one proposed by the Supreme Allied War Council ((OOC: http://books.google.com/books?id=Nv6CuZ-AcoYC&pg=PA111#v=onepage&q&f=false and http://acienciala.faculty.ku.edu/hist557/lect11.htm, referring to Line A). The continued actions of the Polish State to expand the war and the destruction they have wrought on the Ukraine however, demand some form of recompense in the form of the ability to feed those so adversely affected the Polish actions.

Furthermore, desiring a more satisfactory peace for all involved, we have even enlisted the mediation of the United States of America. Yet when presented, this too was spat upon by the West, making one wonder how many of their young men they desire to sacrifice. Yet, still we will offer a peace and hope the Poles and their Imperialist backers if they are willing to negotiate a peace that recognizes reality and is not based upon their own deluded fantasies.

II Plebiscite
1. At the end of the thirteen years a plebiscite shall be held to determine the future of the status of the Memel Territory.
2. The plebiscite options shall be Union with Germany, Union with Lithuania, continued League of Nations governance, or self-government.

1. The Free City of Danzig shall be placed directly under the authority of the League of Nations for twelve months.
2. The League of Nations shall appoint a five-person Governing Commission.
3. The Commission must include at least one German resident and one Polish resident of Danzig.

II Plebiscite
1. At the end of the twelve months a plebiscite shall be held to determine the future of the status of the Free City of Danzig.

The Polish government of Jozef Pilsudski cannot agree to such a short time for the plebiscite for Danzig. Any such vote should be delayed until after the Bolshevik invasion and disorder in Poland have ended to allow the vote to take place in an atmosphere of calm. We don't want a third Plebiscite to be marred by voting irregularities caused by fear and intimidation.

The Greater Japanese Empire is appalled at the cavalier fashion in which the Russian Communists employ deceit on the international stage. The Communists have been offered a return to status quo, a peace which they claim to desire, and yet they insist on more. Their blatant attempts to extort the Western Allies have not gone unnoticed even here in Japan, and we are forced to reconsider the decision to sign a diplomatic protocol with a group that is so committed to belligerence, expansionism, and outright theft.

If the Russian Communists continue to insist upon their greedy demands to the Allied Powers and refuse to ratify the pre-war border, the Greater Japanese Empire will be forced to take decisive action in support of its British and European allies. There can be no peace in the East if that peace is simply a means for the Russians to practice their violent aggression against the West.

For Germany to grow and prosper, reliable partners are needed. We are proud to say we have found such a partner in Sweden and the present treaty will help our Germanic countries in these changing times. No longer can research be limited to one single country and the fast developments of the aeronautical sector need our assistance if we don't want to be bypassed by others. And closer ties with Sweden will benefit us on both sides of the Baltic.

I. Trade
a. The Kingdom of Sweden and the German Reich will commit to fruitful trade relations and will lower their general tariffs in accordance with international law and treaties so as to foster growth and closer ties.
b. The Kingdom of Sweden and the German Reich will lower their tariffs further on some strategic goods, to assist the two economies in key sectors, such as the mining sector in Sweden or German metallurgy.

II. Education
a. The Kingdom of Sweden and the German Reich will ease their legislation concerning students visas, to develop the existing cultural exchanges. Quotas of foreign students attending to university classes will be ignored for Swedish students in Germany, and German students in Sweden.
b. Academic cooperation will be encouraged, and programs for applied research will be conducted jointly.

III. Aeronautical cooperation
a. The Kingdom of Sweden and the German Reich will further the burgeoning airline sector and provide employment to their skilled pilots through a project of expanded cooperation on aviatic questions and increased airborne traffic between the countries.

On Recent Affairs, by Foreign Minister Ernst Trygger​

The Great War has introduced large sweeping changes in geopolitical affairs, and the Swedish nation must always adapt to the changes in order to stay secure and active in international diplomacy. Intelligent adjustment must be our motto in the future, and we must recognise that even though the German Reich has been struck a critical blow in the Great War, they still provide a large market that is capable of sustaining a symbiotic trade relationship with Sweden. Our iron ore is of vital importance to German metallurgy, and we must be capable of exploiting this reality at all times to improve the economic potential of our country and the expansion of civilian airlines will be beneficial to reclaiming the pre-war connections and cooperation. This does not mean that we can look at Germany with a purely positive outlook. The paramilitary organisations known as "Freikorps" are illegally occupying foreign lands and have previously massacred civilians. This is not acceptable, and it is important that Germany is allowed to return to a working nation without these divided forces tearing Germany apart. The Freikorps must be guided to work for the good of Germany, under a united leadership. It is a shame that the Treaty of Versailles has limited the German people in their self-determination for a strong and capable head of state.

On another note, the Åland Question has been solved with no blood being spilled thanks to the rapid action of the Swedish government in favour of the self-determination of Ålanders. We are ready to discuss with the Finnish government the possibility of future compensation for the land lost and also the continuation of the demilitarisation that was decided in the Treaty of Paris. Until this has been officially concluded, we shall preserve a minor military presence to deter any drastic retaliation. We hope that the Finnish people and government will be ready to return to normalcy soon, and that our historical and cultural bonds will overcome destructive Fennoman policies that will only serve to isolate. However, we also extend this policy to other areas. The people of both Danzig and Memel deserve a chance to express their will in a referendum, and we are glad to see that Danzig will be provided with this chance so soon. However, we also fear that the Freikorps may influence the results. We hope that this will not be the case, and pray that the people of Danzig will value this chance.

Similar events can be found in Turkey, where the Sultan's Government under the military guidance of Mustafa Kemal Pasha is the only legitimate government of Turkey and is forced to defend itself against Greek invaders to defend its people from ideas of Greek hegemony. This can not be accepted. No Greek presence in Anatolia can be considered legitimate without a referendum proving that the people stand firmly behind Greece. We hope that the Turkish people is successful in extending law and order to all parts of its borders and throw out any invaders without unnecessary violence. However, we understand that parts of Anatolia may very well support Greek leadership, and we hope that the Greek and Turkish governments come to a mutual agreement that will respect the will of the people without letting brute force decide borders. Self-determination is once again key to ensure long-term borders that will not be fought over again in another decade or two.

The government of Sweden looks with worry at the Polish situation, where Warsaw has fallen and the Polish government has split. This is not proper behaviour from a functional country, and we hope to see order reestablished. The Bolshevik hordes must not be allowed to overrun Europe. Their shoddy ideology is only capable of expressing hate and the murder of millions to create a failed utopia for the rest. The people of Ukraine have fallen victim to this evil and we pray that they shall not forget their short glimpse of freedom from Bolshevism that was provided with the help of western forces.

Lastly, the true Hungarian government has been restored. Matyas III and Horthy can once again lead Hungary to the bright future it deserves, and the puppet government is now able to serve true Hungarian interests. We look forward to future cooperation with our brothers in Hungary, and hope that the chaos in Romania will be contained swiftly.

They are either planning to cause civil conflict while the Bolsheviks hammer at the door or else they seek to sell out Poland's future by signing a peace with the Bolshevik Barbarians which will give Poland 5 years of freedom then another 100 years of Oppression as they accept border which do not give us the strength to survive a second war. They seek to doom free Poland to another bout of destruction and oppression under foreign masters. I will not let them do that I will do everything I can to ensure that Poland survive free not for a few years but forever. That is not my aim it is my duty and I will die before I fail at it. This is what all Poles have sought for over a hundred years. I will not fail them now at the hour of triumph. The only one who will fail them are the fools and traitors of the National Democrats who will destroy Poland with their foolishness.

The Astana and the Brooke family want to reach out and humbly apologize to all of Sarawak for the horrible acts that were done upon you and I personally as your Rajah vow to never let such happen again. At the yearly summit when all of your Chieftains were summoned to the Astana justice were swiftly done, these criminal men apprehend and sentenced for their crimes. Their crimes were treason against the Crown, the State and the people of Sarawak. They were given the authority and task to make the land better, to improve upon the way of life that is the Malayan way, not destroy it or exploit it.

But we need to look forward, these acts of horrible men shall not hinder us from growing as a nation and as a people. However I will not let the Malayan or Dayak tribes be put trough horrors like this again and will thus be starting a project in Kutching that will lead to repair the damage that has been done and make us stronger. On the other side of the River in full view of the Astana we shall build and start the School of Royal Service in Kutching, here the young minds, the prodigies of the Chieftains and the future of our Kingdom shall be nourished and prepared to serve Sarawak and do what the white man couldn't.

His Highness, Bertram Brooke the Rajah Mudah of Sarawak shall be traveling along the rivers of our large nation and meet with each tribe and explain in detail to you what this means in detail for your Chieftain, for you and for all of us as a whole. Bertram will also interview your candidates for the Royal Service and bring them with him to the Capital. Its the belief of me and the Astana that this is our way to progress, not relying on the methods of the west but building our own way trough the Malayan way of life. Treaty of Krakow

The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, the French Third Republic, the Greater Japanese Empire, and the Commonwealth of Poland, as well as the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic, the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, the Belorussian Soviet Socialist Republic, and the Transcaucasian Soviet Socialist Republic, hereby pledge their agreement to the following agreement and all of its terms,

I. The United Kingdom, France, Japan, and Poland shall enter into a permanent and lasting state of peace with Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, and Transcaucasia and shall commit to restoring bilateral diplomatic and trade ties between their respective states. The United Kingdom, France, Japan, and Poland shall formally recognize the governments of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, and Transcaucasia as legitimate and representative of their respective peoples.

II. The international border between Poland, Ukraine, and Belarus and their successors shall conform to the line acknowledged by the Inter-Allied Commission in 1919, popularly known as the Curzon Line "B" variant. All signatories shall affirm their acknowledgement of this border as rightful and all signatories with contrary claims shall surrender them.

III. The international border between Poland, Ukraine, and Belarus, and their successors as well as an area extending forty kilometers from either side of that border, shall be a zone of controlled armament for a period of five years. No signatory nation may operate armed forces, nor may they construct military fortifications or obstacles, nor may they build structures intended for the operation or maintenance of military forces, within the area of controlled armament.

IV. Poland shall transfer 35 million bushels of grain to Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus, and their successors each year for a period of five years.

V. Ukraine or its successor shall retain sole mineral exploitation rights within the Lwow voivoideship for a period of five years.

VI. Poland shall provide transportation and the right of free passage for its Belorussian and Ukrainian citizens to relocate to Belarus and Ukraine, as well as compensation for all non-transferrable property, for a period of five years. Belarus and Ukraine, or their successors shall provide transportation and the right of free passage for their Polish citizens to relocate to Poland, as well as compensation for all non-transferrable property, for a period of five years.

VII. The terms of Clauses III and V shall be overseen by a commission jointly established by the signatory nations and－carried out under the mandate of this treaty, which shall have full supervisory and investigative rights within the three nations' or their successors－ territories to ensure that the terms are carried out fairly and justly. The costs of the commission's operations, of relocation, and of compensation in Clauses III and V shall be divided among the signatories. Great Britain, France, and Japan shall jointly provide for 60% of the costs, Poland shall provide for 10%, and Ukraine and Belarus and their successors shall jointly provide for 30%.

VIII. Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus and their successors shall return all works of Polish cultural heritage appropriated by the Russian Empire or any of the signatory states to Poland.
