They have failed us. The German mercenaries we hired proved to be worthless. It seems like Janos Hunyandi's Black Army shan't rise again. We had hoped to create a lasting force of mercenaries, but instead we will have to count on ourselves. That simply means we will have to fight like Arpad, to unite the entire Magyarország, so as to crush the ones who claim to rule over Our properties of Croatia. The crown of Croatia is subordinated to that of St-Stephen, and will always remain that way. This setback won't change a thing, and the ones who refused to obey Our Royal will shall be punished.
Further away from us, other traitors have risen. We regret to see the instability in the Ottoman Empire, and dread to see such situation happen in Our realm. But true friends need to stick with each other in time of needs, and we will thus continue our fruitful relations with the Ottomans. From the Atlantic to Poland our army stands as the largest and, after recent endeavour by our most esteemed generals, can boast unrivalled discipline and the will needed to protect this realm.
