Freeze in save menu

I didn't knw why sometimes when I go to save, so open save option and while seem to load thumberlain of precedent save before to select file to save the game go to freeze not responding and I must to close it.
I try with or without mod, different resolution of display, driver video is the last, try with cloud or not cloud is the same...

Core 2 Quad Q9400
4gb ddr ram
ati gt6850
direct x the last....

the game run gooood only this damm problem....

I think I must be having a similar issue to you. The game hangs for a long time when I open up the save game menu, unable to move my mouse etc. It does eventually load and I'm able to then click save which doesn't hang noticeably while actually saving but waiting for the initial menu to pop up takes what I would consider an abnormally long time.
