I read here on a daily basis. Sometimes I laugh, sometimes I get angry a bit, sometimes I poke Johan and he gets angry at me :)

iirc Nintendo got a bunch of Australian streamers streams taken down because they gained access to the game earlier than the official release date due to Timezone shenanigans
Hmm maybe we could allow that but only if content creators play with starting tags where they are based.

We could even potentially partner with Kiribati tourism agency. And then American players painfully wait while watching all kinds of countries gameplay…

Wooot, it should have been published, I think it's the forum doing weird things:

Ok, no, it has solved itself, and is now available. WTF, the forum might be gaslighting me...?

Very important question about the game's development (ok, maybe not lol): if you were to choose any place in 1337 to be isekai'd (as in, you being teleported into a different year/timeline/world/etc) in, which one would you choose?
None, 2025 is a much better year to leave if you're a commoner.

Would still be better than not having a game to play at all

As someone who is a Paradox fan, is now working at Paradox, and currently able to play EU5 freely. I personally disagree.
Same as with any game in development, there are a plethora of things that require polish, tweaking, fixing, etc.

Is the game "Playable"? Yes, like Johan has said it's technically been "playable" for a long while. But playable =/= ready for release. I suspect many would ask us "Why would you release it in such a state" if we decided to release it on a whim, rightfully so.

Do I expect a perfect release? No, there's always things we don't catch or things that require more tweaks. With a game as complex and content filled as EUV that applies even more so. I believe a "Release when we are ready" policy works a lot better regardless.

Its all well and good for you having access and playing it already <insert_cry_emoji_here>

But you are right it's better to wait for a game to be how the devs want it to be for us at the end of the day. As one of the people who was beyond hyped, a lot of it has kinda vanished as it looked that the Game Release or Game Release Announcement felt imminent. With the streamer footage and things they said like, "Optimisation takes place at the end of the game dev cycle and that's the stage they are in"

Then the release of the OST a month or two after with a massive ramp up of map updates and flavour, it seemed primed for a release very soon TM. And this probably has lead to some disappointment from ones here.

In saying that, keep doing what yous do. The game looks absolutely amazing. I can't wait to get the super special extreme deluxe special edition. And when its ready (hopefully this year) i am going to absolutely no life it. Thanks again for everything! And RENAME IRISH TO GAELIC CULTURE PLEASE :)

Thanks for the support!

I understand the frustration with things like OST and Content Creator videos going out followed by nothing. Though sadly I can't comment on it.

They're ramping up the marketing again. Something is coming...

Also, the graphics in the video was set on ultra, aside from a few things turned off, and the resolution was 4k, reduced to 2k for the video. Considering all of this, I'd say performance is actually great.

Source? Not sure I trust that Ryagi guy.

Ryagi said this was something smaller while they prepare bigger things for us in the future. Since next week will be different, one can only assume it'll be something pretty cool

It's all relative, and what one person may find very interesting others might not. But hopefully this sort of content is preferable to silence, and the feedback we get from it is often quite valuable.

The thing that people are really clamoring for is a release date which we simply aren't ready to discuss yet.
