Game Breaking Glitch

Everytime my Empire reaches a certain size, the game crashes. Always happens between 2500-2700 in game time. My empire is large with lost of fleets moving around. It's happened 4 times now. I've re downloaded the game 4 times now and re initiated my PS4.....and it still happens.

EDIT: and has this happened in every save you've made since August, or just this one?

I purchased the game in June, but I have had two games since August that have gilched out.

My PS4 has all it's updates, It's a 1TB slim model

what are your galaxy settings for the game?

assuming you haven't changed them and you don't remember, just start a new game and the galaxy settings should be at what they were last at


the reason I ask this is because it is possible that your galaxy settings are causing the problem, as game crashes are kind of well known depending on how you've set things up

the main things to be aware of would be:

Galaxy Size
AI Empires #
Fallen Empires #
Marauder Empires #
Primitive Civilizations
Habitable Worlds
