Since the Slammer-update my game crashes every time after 1-3 minutes. I've tried to install it new, but it didn't work. Before the update, the game ran perfectly on Windows 10.

it's really sad because i like the game very much.

Any advise for me?

thx

Could you send the files stated below in order to assist you further:

DXDIAG is a program you run from a command prompt or the Windows start menu 'run' dialog box (or 'search programs' in Windows 7 or later). After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here.

Please send in the game log C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\Introversion\Prison Architect\debug.txt

You don't need to thank me just yet as I haven't solved it,

I'm here to assist people with potential issues with the game.

Here is the details on what error I spotted during my digging:

GL_INVALID_ENUM, 0x0500
Given when an enumeration parameter is not a legal enumeration for that function. This is given only for local problems; if the spec allows the enumeration in certain circumstances, where other parameters or state dictate those circumstances, then GL_INVALID_OPERATION is the result instead

From reading DXDiag, Intel Graphics isn't really supported on Prison Architect. This was known by the community as being a big problem. (It had countless crashes or visual bugs)

If you have any other graphics cards in the machine, Set those as default.

ENUM error might be caused by the internal Intel Graphics Card (APU)

Based on stability from my experience with the first ever release from Introversion Software to now:
Nvidia Graphics cards (2008 - Latest) 30FPS - 60FPS (APU)
AMD Graphics cards (2008 - Latest) 30FPS - 59FPS (APU)
Intel Graphics (During the Alpha stages of the game functioned well enough - No crashes or visual bugs)

I will continue digging into the memory address that caused the crash.

@Xionxxa this crash happens on any Intel video system when tasers are used in the game. It's been happening ever since our first version, I logged a Jira on it PA-5. I assume there is some graphics code being called for that visual effect which the Intel video drivers simply cannot support.

I've been taking the stance that as that's unsupported hardware it's unlikely to be fixed, but if it can be anyway that would be sensational!
