Game Crashes after the intro videos

My East India Company game crashes after the Intro Videos.
I´m not able to play the game

Infos about my Laptop:
CPU: Turion TL56 Prozessor with Dual 1,8GHz
RAM: 2GB
Graphic-Card: ATI Mobility Radeon X2300 with 128 MB RAM.
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit

I bought the game via Steam.
Their support said I have to contact you.

I tried to start the game in the compatibility XP-mode, without success.
I tried to start the game without a running anti virus software, also without success.

Try to update your graphic card drivers to the latest version.

Do you try to play in a language other than English? If yes, change the language to English. Steam will download an update. If it doesn't, check the integrity. It should work then.
