Game crashes when saving

Whether I save manually or an autosave takes place, a crash occurs. No such issue exists in vanilla game. Haven't found it in known problems, wonder how to fix it.

I have this problem when playing republics in game for some reason. I get ocassional CTDs playing kingdoms but not much. I have been trying to play a game as Tyrosh, and my autosaves always crash the game, and if I try without them, I still get random crashes.

However, when I play one of the monarchies or a lord, my saves "usually" work fine.

Same here. Every time I manually save, it crashes.

Hello everyone!
I too had the same problem and I fixed it by manually creating a folder named "save games" in "My Documents/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings II/Game of Thrones".
Hope it helps!
