As the title reads, whenever I select "New Game" the game crashes during the loading screen or during the first seconds of the game, even when unpaused.
I could run the game without issues before so this shouldn't be related to especs...
Any help?
(Ver: 1.7.5)

Can you please provide the following:

The crash dump
Located in \AppData\Local\Temp\Colossal Order\Cities Skylines II\Crashes (To see the AppData folder you’ll need to enable View Hidden Items in File Explorer)

The player.log
Located in \AppData\LocalLow\Colossal Order\Cities Skylines II (To see the AppData folder you’ll need to enable View Hidden Items in File Explorer)

A DxDiag

Open your Start menu, Cortana or Search
Type dxdiag in the search field
Click on the dxdiag program
A window called "DirectX Diagnostic Tool" should pop up now
Wait until the green bar at the bottom-left has disappeared
At the bottom right-hand side, click on "Save all information"
Save it to a place where you can find it easily, for example your desktop
Attach this file here - IF dxdiag.txt fails to attach here, rename it to dxdiag.log , or zip it up. Thanks.

Could the player.log have a different name? I wasn't able to find it. Hope this helps, if any other file is needed please tell!
Thank you!

My apologies, I pasted in stuff from the wrong game - working too many games at once!

System Manufacturer: HP
System Model: Victus by HP Gaming Laptop 16-r0xxx
BIOS: F.21 (type: UEFI)
Processor: 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-13700H (20 CPUs), ~2.4GHz
You very likely have the CPU/bios hardware issue discussed here:

FIRST please check for an updated bios. Then please implement the “Intel Default” option in it, if present.

If that's not there or doesn't help, please go through the above post in detail.

Hopefully those steps will help you as they have others.

You also have an apparent hardware fault, as 2gb of your installed memory is not available to Windows. You can try re-plugging your memory strips, if that doesn't help then you'll need hardware help.
