Your system does not meet the minimum specs to play the game. :(

If you want to try, then be sure and play on a low resolution, turn the music off in the EU2 settings. play on slow speed. Rename the AVI folder to AVI_back, and make sure you have no programs running in the background.
 
Never saw the UBI specs but the game specs are:
Minimum
Pent2 266 - 64meg ram - 2mb video card- win95 (must install winsock 2 update).

Recommend atleast:
Pent2 450 - 128meg ram.

And that was for version 1.00.
Additional data in the subsequent patches would raise those specs.

Since your system is very diferent from his I doubt you have the "same problem" ;)

We do not support user made mods, you must ask the makers of that mod for support with it. Try their subforum within the scenario forum.
 
You said you have a mod installed.

If you want to see if that is the cause, you must fully uninstall EU2 and all mods, manually delete the folders and adjust the Registry, You can find detailed instructions for this in the self help sticky thread, notice that "1.Uninstall" is a hotlink.

Then reinstall, apply patch 1.07, then the latest beta if you wish, then rename the AVI folder to AVI_back.

See if you have any problems then.
If not try the mods and see if the problem returns.

If you can upgrade your memory it would be a huge improvement.
I would say that then your CPU speed are your biggest impediments. I think 640x480 is the lowest res.
 
1.07 would require more memory, but if you are going to do that then do the betas as well since they fix some bugs in 1.07.
 
Please start a new thread for your problem.
And list your computer specs.
