Game Crashes!!!

1st let me start by saying HOI2, just like HOI, makes my coffee drinking and cigarette smoking go WAY up because the game is soooo addicting!! BUT HOI2
just like HOI, CRASHES right in the middle of a way hot battle!! patched,16 bit, video card drivers updated, etc.....HELP!!

Nope. It's running fine. But it seems when the action is way hot and I am really into the game THEN it crashes!! The strange thing is the exact same thing happened in HOI......

Well make sure the AVI folder is renamed, otherwise that can cause crashes mid game.

If it is totally random and you have all your virus protection and other background programs turned off then the only thing I can suggest for you now is to save often.
The team continues to hunt down bugs as found. If you notice any kind of patern then e-mail in a bug report.

I just renamed folder. But what are those with "always connected" broadband susposed to do if we turn off firewalls and virus protection? We would be running naked through the internet while playing the game.

Well you should not be running anywhere if you have all your background processes turned off.
But if you are paranoid, just unplug the modem.
