Game Crashing upon load-up

Hi there,

A recent problem's developed only recently in Armageddon 1.3a. I reached November 1, 1945 in my Germany campaign, and the game keeps crashing (Vista reports that some problem caused the program to stop working, is gathering information on the problem, so on and so forth). I restarted my laptop, and rebooted the game (obviously), but alas, it crashes yet again when the game screen loads and it hits around 0100 hours on November 1st.

Has anyone experienced this before? I'm wondering what has been corrupted to causes this annoyance...I was at an interesting stage in the game, too!

Another thing: it only seems to be doing this when I load as Germany. I loaded the November 1st autosave as Canada, as well, and it continued past the point where it froze while I was playing as Germany (essentially the minute one "game hour" passes, once loaded).

There is no such version. Do you mean HoI2 1.3a, Doomsday 1.3a, Armageddon 1.2, or did you make the mistake of installing an HoI2/DD 1.3a patch over Armageddon?

Woops, my mistake. I was referring to Armageddon 1.2.
