When i launch the game (through steam) it keeps on crashing while im loading in. I have been able to play the game before but after the “Khans of the steppe” update i have not been able to launch the game. I have 450 GB of free space on my SSD. Can someone help?

The most recent patch was supposed to have fixed an issue that caused the game to crash when saves from prior game versions were present.
It may have not, however. I‘d suggest moving them somewhere else and trying again.

They should be either in the local files, which you access through steam (if you don‘t know how to, look up a video, hard to describe) or in a document folder titled Paradox Interactive.
Just copy and paste them anywhere else, into downloads, for example.
Though I‘d be remiss if I didn‘t also ask if you‘re running mods in your playset. Quite possible that out of date mods crash your game before you‘re even trying to start.
Have you looked at the rendered yet? One of them's depreciated and maybe you accidentally changed it?
Is your OS up-to-date and are you running lots of other programs while trying to run Steam?
I dont run alot of games while i run CK3 but i can get to the menu and play about 15 minutes before the game crashes again
