This might not be realy a bug, it most likely works as intended, but nevertheless I have a problem:

I bought the game on Steam...also because I was going to a place for several weeks with a lot of boredom and no possibility to leave.

They call it a clinic. I call it a prison.

My problem is. I have an Internetacces here via wlan and my notebook, but steam is blocked. :eek:o

This means I cannot download the game which i rightfully purchased. (I also registered this game here)

So, eager to play this realy marvelous game and far away of my friends and family, I visited a somewhat darker place
of the internet downloading a something called skidrow version of the game.
The problem is now. This is a 1.00 Version of the game and it is kinda buggy. A lot of ctd`s occured to me...

After downloading and installing the patch the game doesn``t run anymore.

So my question is:

Is there a way to "rightfully" download the game (another than via the Steam program) or make my version run properly with the patch 1.03b?

If I broke some forum rules here, I am sorry.

We do not support pirated versions of the game in any way, regardless of circumstances. You never know what might have been put into that illegal version of the game. You should immediately uninstall and delete the game and run several malware checkers on your machine.

I can only suggest getting someone outside your clinic to install the game legally and have them copy it onto a USB key and send it to you.
