Description​

Playing on Steam Deck.
The game freezes, crashes, becomes unresponsive in a variety of ways. The game will suddenly stutter in frames and crash. The mouse will stop responding. You can do some alt+tab, but the mouse is as unresponsive. Are you playing for over 2 hours? the game will crash. Are you playing for less than 2 hours? the game will crash. Are you browsing several kingdoms one after another? the game will freeze. Whatever you do, the game is predestined to freeze and crash on Steam Deck.

Steps to reproduce​

whatever you do, the game will crash. I have been forced to press my restart button for many times, 5 times and I refuse to keep going on that path. I have played 17 hours on Steam Deck, and after 5 crashes I fear that if I keep on going, my Steam Deck's hardware may be compromised. It is sad, because Paradox has the means to work on a game that is currently at the top 100 games on Steam Unfortunately as of today, the game is not Steam Deck compatible. It runs perfectly, but freezes/crashes often.

Did you install the game in a microSD, external hard drive or the local SSD?

Steam has reached out to me, unlike Paradox, and suggested me to install the game in the local SSD. I would like to inform that, after reinstalling the game in the local SSD of the Steam Deck, I haven't had any freeze and had only 1 crash that did not freeze the computer, just automatically forced quit the game, in over 5 hours of testing..

It turns out that I got another freeze after many hours playing with the game installed in the local SSD. The game freezes, mouse does not move, and then the system will force quit the game after a few minutes. No need to press restart.
