Game speed problem PS4.

After a while i play my first city, my population grew to around 100k and the speed in game having problem. I cant speed up the time even i longpress R3 to x3 speed, the ingame movement still x1 speed despite the bar showed x3. Even the date also not speed up.

This is completely normal. As the city grows, your processor needs to make more calculations for all the citizens. At some point it just isn't able to make them fast enough to really speed up the game anymore.

Try to improve your traffic and services etc to reduce the amount of ai going on in your city. The less ai calculations the game needs to make the smoother it will run.

Turning off weather and street names etc had a small influence as well for better speed for me I felt and my ogps4 will usually not hit a major slog slow down until apx 150-200k population. I keep my traffic as close to 90% as I can and keenly update my mass transportation to keep sims from diving.
