game wont run

Hi there i downloaded the game and the expansion along with the latest patches on my laptop computer. im running windows vista home premium.
comp is aspire5630,

processor: intel 1.6ghz
memory 2 gb
system 32 bit operating system

hope thats enough info?

well i install the game no problem and patches...the game starts up and i can even pick a scenario and country. Problem is when i go and start the game it shuts down right away and all i get it windows is searching for solution to the problem...it never dows give me a solution and just shuts right down. Waht even more weird is i can go into the tutorial and play it no problem..no shut downs nothing. IVe also played Europa universalis III and other games by the same company no problem...im also playing a lot of other games which require a lot more in regards to graphics etc...for example battlefield 2 etc..

Anyway i just want to get the game up and running and cant on my own pc. I did try and install on another pc and it worked fine......so its not how im downloading etc.. im thinking its vista or something....anyway any help to get me up and running would be great. Thxs.

ok i ran mine and as you must know theres lots of info here. did you want the first page that is labeled system or display? im running direct x 10 if thats what your looking for? let me know. I also tried installing under another folder etc and installing in the correct order, does the same thing but now im getting this error. Either way its not working. Thanks for taking the time to help out. anyway this is the message im getting now..

anyway doesnt matter what i click it shuts down and goes to the windows trying to find solution.......which it never does then completely shuts down......
