Germany Surrender Event

So I'm playing a somewhat strange game as the USA. USSR declares war on france in 39 or 40 and Nat Spain and Portugal join the axis. Its now 44 and I've over run North Africa, Italy, the Iberian Peninsula, France and most of Germany. I'm starting to push into the balkans and eastern europe when the German surrender event fires. I think this is a Vanilla event. Anyway it triggers a Liberate Europe event which is the problem with my post. The liberate europe event restored all the countries of europe that I've over run (except on the Iberian Peninsula) have their territory restored, including the ones I'm still at war with. Italy is basically returned to their prewar setup and now I have to conquer them again. The same for several of the small balkan countries that I've taken territory from. To add insult to injury, it dumped my army into reserve (presumably back to the US) where I have to boat them back over.

Can somebody modify the liberate europe event to exclude the countries that USA is still at war with?

Maybe the trigger should be something like "if not at war with [insert list of countries here]."

Hi,

The "War End" evens haven't really been worked yet. These are very complicated, but eventually we'll get to them. Hopefully we can come up with something better.
