Is there any way to run pipes through uneven terrain?

The map I'm on has a couple of water deposits down in a crater. I built a couple of extractors, along with the supporting infrastructure, and then I realised there was absolutely no way to run the pipework out. Every path has some uneven terrain blocking it. Do I need to scrap the lot or is there some upcoming tech that might let me resolve this?

Yeah a tunnel is the only way.

Tunnels will connect your extractors to the main network when you connect the pipes and cables to either end.

Building I wish for: infrastructure tunnel. Not passable (I'll build a drone controller on the other hand and supply with shuttles), but much smaller, because I just don't want to see huge tunnels everywhere.

Yeah, that's my reason. I mean, it being cheaper would be nice, too, but my aesthetics.

Having it be smaller but also much further reach would be very nice.

That way you can choose to either have a tunnel you can zip through with a shorter reach or a tunnel you can't move through but a longer reach.

Pipes - but not cables - can ascend/descend some degree of uneven terrain. Just found a crater with a sloping 'ramp' into it with a good bit of room and a hefty water source inside. Cannot run cables into/out of the crater, but pipes work fine.

Cables can too, they just require a bit more "convincing". I had a similar crater with water deposits, to get the cable down i had to go bit by bit to find spots where it would go instead of dragging over the entire ramp.

Nice! Glad to see that it is possible, just not as easy as it usually is. Thanks!
