Graphic Error When Using PgUp/PgDown

I experience a strange graphical error when cycling between units using the keyboard hotkeys. It's as if when I switch between units in this way, the screen overlaps itself and nothing looks as it seems. It goes away if I simply scroll to another area of the map.

Not a serious error, but an annoying one at times
Does anyone know a solution to this problem? I have all the latest drivers, etc, and have tinkered a little with my video settings with no success.

If it helps, I have a Radeon 8500 graphics card. I hope this problem wasn't posted before, but it isn't in the faq and the search function is down...

Make sure your color depth is set to 16Bit, and you have normal fonts size selected. THose are the key settings for your video card.
You may also want to rename your AVI folder to AVI_back.

But basically this happens when your system cannot cope with the amount of info being presented by such fast scrolls of the map.
