green mars question

at what point in time should we have the terraforming tech tree from the start? I have green mars on xbox and I have been playing it for awhile year 38 and it hasn't come up a lot of other stuff has but none of the terraforming stuff has. Is there an area I should activate it like on Stellaris or is it not fully updated yet.

thanks man I am loading up a new game after uninstalling and reinstalling the mods and I will tell you how it all goes I am completely open the possiability that I did something wrong but I think it may be a problem with the game as I had a series of updates for mods later in the day not for the game but for the DLC like space race and so on so maybe something is catching up

I still can't get the terraforming research stuff in my games, I have tried installing and uninstalling and reinstalling stuff check through my settings, I don't know what else I can do Dev's could you tell me what I am doing wrong? If I am not doing anything wrong could you guys just give me a timeline of when it will work for console please?

I'd suggest disabling any outside mods and double checking that you have the DLC actually bought and installed.

I´m on PS4 and the Terraforming tech didn´t show up under research for me too. Terraforming in build mode do. I loaded an existing game, did I need to start a new one?

I have tried every way of fixing it as much as I can and there is no way of fixing it so my conclusion is that something hasn't been clicked on there end and it will be all good when they remember to press the button. Maybe because some of the times we get it before the PC players they are busy checking out the PC stuff when something comes up I hope they get to it soon the Xbox crowd has already left its first angry review, can't blame them but I don't think it is that productive. I am just hoping for some communication.

Quick response, when I start a new game everything shows up, maybe it really didn´t work on an old save, would be fine if it does.

You can't terraform in older saves. You have to start a new game.

I have done that many times, I would prefer if people would read what is said, rather than just leaving comments, I am trying my best to be polite but a lot of the time people put finger to key without out a thought.

There seems to be an issue with the Season Pass on Xbox. Season Pass owners should be able to download Green Planet but are not receiving it. It's been investigated by all parties involved, as far as I know.

If it helps on my end when uninstalling and installing stuff I noted that everything everything else in the mircosoft store counted as ready to install (Colony Design set, Mars Vision Song Contest, and so on). However the xbox didn't count those as ready to install, and when buying the package it didn't count, as me owning the other two, when I looked at them individually. I hope that information helps.

Bought Season Pass (a bit late, but it´s atm cheaper with PS+ discount than the new 2 dlc´s together) downloaded it, installed the new patch and it works, but only in a new game.
Everything related to the new patch (f.e.5 landscaping tools) and the pet dlc (new farms) is working in an old save too.
