after i have orderd my bombers a strike the map (and only the map) became grey - the colour which indicates that the area is out of range. now it is all grey and the buttons among the minimap don't work any more. i didn't check out if it disappears after a restart - i guess it will , but maybe there is another solution, because i don't want to break up my offensive now :rolleyes:
 
The idea would be to stop it happening in the first place though.

This used to drive me nuts. It happens when you order a strike in a zone/area that is out of range of your bombers (you mouse-click on an out-of-range zone). The only recourse is to save, reload, and then click on the terrain icon of your choice on the lower left of the map screen.
