Has the jousting mortality bug been fixed?

I play very slow, though exceedingly so after a new update, I got through all of two years in an entire extended afternoon, but I wanted to ask if anybody had maybe rushed ahead to the days when jousting is common enough for you to notice whether things have been fixed or not.

Remember a dev giving out an unofficial patch prior to 1.16, but I couldn't find anything about it in the 1.16 patch-notes themselves, so I'm wondering whether it slipped through the cracks.

It's fixed! The quintain freak accident should no longer slaughter all the knights in tournaments.
