Hearts Of Iron 2 Editor

I bought the Hearts of Iron 2 Complete a few months ago off of Steam. My CDs were not working and I really wanted to play the game again, so I bought it from Steam. The only problem I have is that it did not come with the editor. I e-mailed the people at Steam about this and they told me it was a Paradox issue. I was just wondering where I can get the editor from. I always liked using the editor to create my own scenarios.

Same problem in 2015. Got HOI 2 Complete off of Steam but there's no editor. Wondering if Paradox just doesn't want to include in the Steam offering. Loved tweaking stuff.

I understand the editor only works with (either) the base game or Doomsday but not Armageddon, or even the latest patch of Doomsday.

Personally, if you wish to edit, I use Notepad++
