Yeah what I really wish is VIET immersion and [NBRT+]. I don't think just those 2 are ever going to happen but it would my preference. I could learn to get into SWMH so I can have NBRT+, but without CDC and CPR it's just not quite worth it for me. I'll take a vanilla/NBRT custom mash up plus a fixed CDC/CPR for now.
If you disable SWMH in the installer, NBRT+ should still work.
As it won't included the terrain map and such though, it won't be as good as NBRT+ for SWMH, but still a lot better than vanilla.

VIET Immersion works now? Also are the mods included in HIP updated separately or will you release another update of HIP?
Immersion only works if SWMH isn't enabled.

HIP updates about once a week currently.
Tomorrow's release will bring updates to PB and VIET, and possibly some of the other modules.
The update the week after might also bring some SWMH updates if the team can finalize their current work.

I'm playing with everything except VIET Immersion. It seems that my blind ruler can still go hunting. Should this be allowed? If it's historically accurate then I think it should be there, but how much pleasure can a blind person get out of hunting, anyway? Personally, I would think that if the character is blind they shouldn't be allowed to go hunting. Hell, there are even some sighted people that probably shouldn't be hunting....
Blame vanilla for that. Somehow blinded isn't considered a health trait.
I'll fix it in the next version of PB.

Consider the following scenario (using all modules except VIET Immersion):

I, the ruler, have 2 half-sisters. We all share the same father so we are part of the same dynasty. I successfully arranged a marriage between the son of one of these sisters to the other sister. Should that be allowed, marrying a nephew to his aunt?
Pretty sure marriages like that happened in Medieval Europe a number of times.

I recently bought a Macbook Pro and I'm just wondering how to install this. I know where the folders are, I'm just wondering how I install this. Thank you
Follow the manual instructions in the readme.
Though if you wait for another hour, a new version should be out.

I tried starting as Pecheneg in the William the Conquerer scenario but it crashed. PB+NBRT+VIET+ARKO, latest version.

EDIT: Every game crashes when i press play. Something got wrong? I deleted all former files before installing latest version.
Which exact modules are you using (ARKO and VIET could each refer to multiple combinations)?

Both ARKO modules, all VIET modules, PB and NBRT+

I deleted all files again, reinstalled with the same modules but it keeps crashing. 2.04 and all DLC. Only HIP checked in launcher.
Looks like it might be an issue with VIET Immersion. I'm passing it on to Ordep.

The upload has been replaced, fixing the following:
  • Fixed PB + VIET Immersion crashing the game
  • Fixed the portrait fix not actually fixing anything
If you were affected by either you should redownload.

Are summer fairs gone from HIP, or do you have to be a certain culture/religion?
This kind of stuff depends on your module setup.
PB for example doesn't touch summer fairs beyond being able to take the decision during any month rather than specifically in the summer.
VIET Immersion probably affects it in some way though.

I'm not using Immersion, though (everything but).

I'm also curious about concubines. I thought the limit was 4, but it seems that I can only have 3. Is that change from this mod?
The limit is 3 in vanilla as well; just checked.

The download has been replaced, fixing the following issues:
VIET:
-fixes an issue with the muslim invasion CB in PB VIET
-fixes an issue keeping Pisa, Genoa and the Papal States from being de Jure

PB:
Added a set of tiered conquest checks for the Imperial Reconquest CB under the "Is war possible?" menu. Now works for both PB and PB+SWMH (only the latter in the previous release)
