HOI2 and vista

After long time no play this great game i about to play it again.

Not on same Pc. Present Pc is much more powerfull so no prob running the game i believe. What i like to ask here is: how do HOI2 work on Win Vista 32 OS ?

Works fine.

Best if you install the game (and anything else for that matter) anywhere but to c:\program files. Try c:\MyGames or something like that.

Vista has some quirky 'enhancements' over XP. You should familiarize yourself with:
UAC - user account control (security); and Compatibility files (virtualization).

Just google those terms to find out more about them and how they affect programs on Vista. Also read through some of the posts here in this forum; seems like one a day pops up with vista issue - usually easily dealt with.

Thx for ur tips Works like a charm and game is still very cool except the graphics that could a major upgrade. Core of the game is great. Can't wait for HOI 3 to come.
