Hoi2 wont unistall and cant find in regedit

Hey, i installed hoi2, patched to 1.3A, installed DD and updated to 1.3.
The game wont start after patching to 1.3, so i tried unistall.
It tells me not enough parameters.
So i follow this tutorial for manual unistall:

But when i do ->run->regedit->software i cant find paradox or hearts of iron 2 at all!
I do find my hearts of iron 3 game, but not 2.
Now i cant play, unistall, reinstall hoi2.
Can anybody help please?

In regedit, "Edit", "Find", HOI2, delete whatever is found AFTER double-Checking, "F3" to find the next ocurence, etc...
It worked fine fo me on W7, but I had to delete between 20 and 30 entries.

I tried to find Hoi2, no founds.
But windows 7 claims that hoi2 is stil on the pc, and with inserting the disc it says ''play'' and not ''install''.
So i can not play the game, neither unistall/install.
I quess i have to wait for some good mods for hoi3 then, and let hoi2 stay damaged on my pc until i reinstall everything someday *dont got a extern hd yet, i will reinstall everything when i have*

Try this.

Go to the folder where HOI2 is installed.

Delete all the files in that folder.

Insert your HOI2 DD disk.

You should now have the ability to Repair.

Repair the installation.

Try running the game.. You should be at HOI2 DD 1.0

Install the HOI2 DD 1.3 patch. Make sure that you have downloaded the one for Doomsday.

U should download Ccleaner. use that to delete the files thats left on ur pc. i had the same prob. 1 folder is still on ur pc. its not in reg. it wont uninstall using win7 but Ccleaner will delete it. uninstall only brings up the installshield wizzard with repair or remove options. that wont get rid of it. In my case the file was called Doomsday. it was left behind when i uninstalled the game to fix a prob. Ccleaner is free and will clean ur regisrty as well as delete and uninstall files that win7 wont get rid of.
