Have recently got HOI II. Really do enjoy it. I do have one question though, how do I delete saved games? Have gone through the manual and can't find it.

We have updated our Community Code of Conduct. Please read through the new rules for the forum that are an integral part of Paradox Interactive’s User Agreement.
Go to C:\Program Files\Paradox Interactive\Hearts of Iron 2\scenarios\save games
and delete all saves inside which you want to delete.
Or if using DD it is: C:\Program Files\Paradox Interactive\Doomsday\scenarios\save games
and delete all saves inside which you want to delete.

It would be very handy to be able to delete saved game files in the screen where you load saved game files. Just about every other pc game that uses saved game files has that feature.

Thanks for the information on deleting. Had the auto save feature on. I also have the habit of saving quite often.
I think there is a thirdparty program floating around that helps with organizing the save games, auto archive, and interactive deleting/moving that kind of thing.
