How do I intervene with my allies?

I am a newbie to the game and is currently trying to learn the trade with Sweden in the Grand Campaigne. The year is 1507 and I have managed to get kicked out of an alliance with Sachsen, Austria and Hungary since I didn't intervene when Boehmen declared war on Sachsen (I think it was). My relation to all of the (former) allies is all +20 +.
Simple question 1 : How do intervene and fight with my allies?
Simple question 1.1: Will this affect my stability as if I was declaring war myself?
Simple question 1.2: Will this affect my relation to other states?

Listen for the trumpet sound. In the upper right part of the screen, right below the pause button, you'll see
little icons pop up there. Click it. It will ask you
if you want to honor the alliance when someone declares war,
or something to that effect.

I'm not sure about the stability thing, but I don't
think it does.
As for your relation rating, just about everything
you do in this game effects that.

You know, you can edit message settings: option-> message settings.
I'd set help requests from allies to pop up and pause, so you don't miss important things.

War yourself stability losses: no casus belli: -2, same faith: -1, and if you have a royal marriage as well, that makes another -1. So -3 or -4. Quite a hit.

To question 1.1, from what I have observed and recall, DoW due to honoring an alliance don't effect stability.

No MP, it doesn't. But he wants to declare the war himself... so he takes the full hit.

I intervened with an Ally once and didn't take the proper precautions, now I have to take lot's of expensive pills and pay regular visits to a clinic

Hmmmm... have you annexed some countries already? Decided to take out Teutonic Order or those pesky Danes?

Each annexation results ca -100 in relations to all nations who have same faith... so no wonder no-one likes you.

Yeah found that out the hard way, GC with Turkey one of my first games and I expanded my borders from Persia to the English Channel (120 badboy until I edited it, I got tired of whooping peoples butts)
