How do I use Nukes?

I am pretty new to the game. Got it a couple of weeks ago. Now I finally have a chance to use nukes as I have about 8 of them. Can I ask how I can use them with my rockets. I have got all the tech but none of the know how. thanks

You should always be able to attach them to strategic bombers. Attaching them to rockets requires quite a few techs, including "Miniaturized Fission Bomb" (1948).

Select a strategic bomber, click "attach nuke":

It wont be an option if you don't have any nuke weapons stockpiled yet. It is one thing to have all the technologies needed, and another thing to actually produce the weapons. You say you have about 8 nukes - do you mean weapons or reactors?
If weapons, the main game screen should show up at the upper mid-right how many weapons you have and when the next one will be ready. Do you see that?

My reactor is at level nine and the bar at the top of the screen that displays stats says 8 next to the nuclear icon. I assume that considering it gradually ticks over that it is my tally of nukes.

Looks like you should be good to go... not sure what the problem is.

What country are you?

Are you trying to attach the nukes to Strat bombers or Rockets?

Are the bombers/rockets based in a province that you own?

And is the province connected by land route back to your capital province?
