How do you get buidlings into the game?

I am on Steam workshop and cannot figure out how to get mods into my game?

Find the mod you want to have, and click the green subscribe button. When in-game click the content button on the main menu and make sure the tick-box is blue.

look at steam downloads tab, might be stuck there depending on your download settings.
