Hello
I was wondering, my late king, with whom I conquered Bravoos with, died. And his son has now taken the throne of the North. How long do I have to wait before I may choose the Call for a Great Council ambition again?

I'm pretty sure it isn't once in a lifetime, because I remember a game where Bobby B. seemed to call one every five years, get the nobility to back him on some ambitious scheme for an overseas invasion... then sit on his ass until the CB expired, doing absolutely nothing. (I have to admit that it was a very in-character thing for him to do, if somewhat annoying.)

That said, I think there's a restriction that prevents you from calling Great Councils below a certain age, though I don't remember exactly.

Looking at the file, it looks like there is a set limit of 3 (which I admit I do not know what exactly it means), but ingame, it does state it as being a once in a lifetime thing.
It also does not appear to state that there is anything involved age wise.
That said, I could well be looking at the wrong file entirely.

Where are you seeing this limit of three, upon using the CB you fulfil the ambition which you cannot take more than once as it applies a character flag to prevent that.
