There are numerous colour correction LUAs in the workshop, last count was 88! Since I don´t intend to test them all and screenshots can only give you that much I want to give it a try myself.
So, where to look? Are there any sites that can give me an idea?

Thank you very much, I googled but haven´t found that one. I´ll have a try although I don´t expect any wonders...

Yeah, as expected, I don´t have any idea what to do. Many words that don´t add up to any meaning to me... I need some visual tutorial.

Maybe it helps:

1. Take a screenshot from your CSL. Before you make screenshoot be sure that you choosen none in Option > Color Correction Override.
2. Import this screenshoot into e.g. Photoshop
3. Apply color adjustments (such as contrast, brightness, color levels adjustments) until a satisfying result has been reached
4. Open neutral_LUT.png (you will find it here: http://www.skylineswiki.com/Color_correction)
5. Repeat steps from point 3. over neutral_LUT.png
6. Save it as png with new name at this folder: Users\<your name>\AppData\Local\Colossal Order\Cities_Skylines\Addons\ColorCorrections\
7. Run CSL, go to Option > Color Correction Override and choose <yourname>_LUT

Important notice:
I noticed that at normal climate map option: none has the same settings like option: temperate. So there isn't default neutral settings available.

I can add to that: If you put the png file (the one with the 2D LUT) in the game folder, and open if in photoshop from there, the game will real time adjust the LUT as soon as you save your modifications in photoshop.
Good luck! Looking forward to see what tou come up with.
