I was trying to make an Ardennes battle scenario for DH but it doesn't seem to work. I copied the Ardennes scenario to Mods/scenarios, changed the provinces' ID to the proper ones, erased the units and added new ones and so on, yet it seems something is either wrong or missing and it won't play. Any ideas?

What I would do is take the battle scenario and, instead of copying and pasting the original, simply type it up from scratch.

Thing is that there are some unique commands that you have to type, like deactivating diplomacy, reinforcements, spies, and including only the provinces you need for the scenario. What I'm not sure is whether the commands you have to type in HoI2 are similar to those in DH because DH has no battlescenarios yet and therefore no example to take a look at.

In addition to that, when I tried to run the battlescenario, it said I had several errors in the units which you can see in detail in savedebug.txt. I corrected them but now whenever I try to run the scenario, it takes me back to desktop without generating the error in savedebug.txt, so I assume it's a serious error, nothing to do with units, generals etc but probably with the provinces or diplomacy or something like that.

My best bet is that it has something to do with the x and y axis(which determines where the map end/begins on both the x and y axis of the map). As far as I'm concerned, I have no idea how one would get an accurate depiction of these coordinates just by looking at the map. that is most likely your issue.

Well, no matter what I've tried, I can't make it work.

Showxy in console. I tend to ignore xy limits, not worth it.

Look in DH Lite for battlescenario examples (documentation on it is sketchy), I personally have never got winning conditions working in battlescenarios, always ignores the win code I give it and hard crashes. :/

I made a scenario with commands exactly like those in ardennes.eug, updated the provinces, the units etc but when the scenario loads, it stops in the middle and never continues. It doesn't show an error message and doesn't update the savedebug.txt either.

Look for a typo somewhere. All errors like that are due to typos in my modding experience.

I had a similar problem. If I recall correctly, it's because I didn't update the province in the commands where fortifications/airbases/navalbases are built.
